Responsible Service of Alcohol

Description

This course is available for both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland versions and each reflects the appropriate current laws. The responsible serving of alcohol is an integral part of any alcohol licence and plays a huge role in ensuring the well being of staff, patrons and the premises. 

It is vitally important that managers and business owners operate a strict responsible serving of alcohol policy. This course also prepares bartenders, servers, hosts and all front-of-house staff to effectively and safely handle difficult situations in your operation. Failure to act responsibly could result in fines, imprisonment, losing your licence, increased insurance costs, or losing your business.

This course is available in two versions, covering the sale or alcohol in the jurisdictions of the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland.

Assessments

This course contains online assessments after each module and an online certification exam at the very end. The self assessments do not count towards the final examination marks but simply give you an idea of how you are doing. On successfully passing the final certification exam you will be issued with a certificate.

Duration & Other information

You do not have to complete the online course in one sitting, and you can also break it into small chunks if you wish. Should you have to leave the course unexpectedly, it will remember where you were the last time you left it. How long it takes you to complete the online course in Responsible Service of Alcohol really depends on you, but 45 minutes is a good guideline.
